Dear Father God, Creator of all,
I praise You and thank You for creating me for a time such as this in the history of this broken world, when people will act as their own god and slander You and all who call upon You, calling evil good, and good evil; lovers of themselves and their own voice, unfit for any good work.
Grant that I always know Your word and hear Your voice, surrendering my way to Your way, never acting as my own god and following false idols.
Your way, Father God, Creator of all, who knew each of us in the womb, is the only way. Thank You for Your Son, Jesus, through whom we have forgiveness of sins and life eternal. Grant that I follow Jesus all the remaining days of my life, carrying my cross daily, denying myself. Amen.
