“until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.”
Ephesians 4:13
Dear Father God, Creator of all,
We praise You and thank You for sending Your Only Son into this broken world to redeem us and bear the brunt of all our sins.
Forgive our vast refusal to accept Him, to surrender to Him, to find fault with other believers while making friends with the world and choosing to follow their king.
The prayer of Jesus was that we all be one as You and He are one so that everyone will believe You sent Him. Forgive our refusal to unify in the blood of Jesus because of our prideful and hardened nature, preferring brokenness to maturity.
Grant me, as an instrument of Your peace, to unite others in Your Sacred Heart, full knowledge of Your Divine nature. Lord Jesus, amen.
