“He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Micah 6:8

Dear Father God, maker of heaven and earth, who formed in Your image,

Thank You for a heart fully able to love You completely; to love others deeply; to love ourselves in spite of our brokenness, because we are Your children and can have confidence in that and walk humbly upon the earth.

Thank You for Your Son, Jesus, Savior and Lord, our Good Shepherd, who we can follow and is the source of justice, kindness, and humility; who bore all our sins and spoke truth, hard truth, which turned away many and still causes people to stumble today.

Thank You for the true peace and joy found in Your words. Thank You for telling us and reinforcing it. Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
