Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me. If You will, You can make me clean.

Heal me with Your light, which shines in the darkness and exposes all the dysfunction and disorder on the earth where Satan is running free.

Thank You for warning us of hypocrisy as Pharisees and scribes were very hostile to You, cross-examining You on many things and lying in wait, hoping to catch You in something You might say.

Thank You for reminding us that nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known, and whatever You have said in the dark will be heard in the light.

Grant me the heart of Peter who denied You but ultimately sacrificed himself and rejoiced at being whipped and put to death on a cross for love of You.

Lead us through verdant pastures and alongside still waters, and You restore our souls, Lord Jesus, our shepherd, our Savior. Amen
