Dear Lord Jesus,

You were wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities. Upon You was the punishment that made us whole, and by Your bruises, we are healed.

Lord, like sheep, we go astray and choose to go our own way.

O Lord, have mercy on me a sinner, not worthy that You should enter under my roof.

Forgive my inertia, forgive my apathy, forgive my arrogance, forgive my ego, forgive my greed, I am broken when apart from You.

With You, I can do all things. There is no fear. You fill us with strength, peace, love, joy, self-control. You fill our barns, our crops are plentiful, all our dreams are surpassed, it is heaven on earth.

Grant that today, I am more surrendered than yesterday. Grant that tomorrow I praise You more than today. Grant that every day I know You more. Amen.
