“As for what fell among the thorns, these are the ones who hear; but as they go on their way, they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

Creator of all things, how great Thou art! Thank You for how You work in the world.

Grant that daily I put on Your full armor in order to effectively thwart the wiles of the devil.

Give me eyes that see and ears that hear; a heart for Your Word, so that I am not led astray.

Grant me the conviction to live to Your purpose, not what the evil one would have me believe, in order to keep me apart from You.

Grant that I walk hand in hand today with my Lord, Jesus the Christ, my Good Shepherd, the only way, the truth, and the life, amen.
