“No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.” Luke 8:16

Dear Lord Jesus,

You are the light of the world to all people, and the darkness cannot overcome it.

Allow that I sufficiently empty myself daily, becoming an empty vessel, that can be filled with the Spirit and capable of radiating Your light to others.

Allow that I release my ego, pride, and greed so that I do not bury Your light or extinguish it in a hardened heart.

Thank You for reminding me what a single light can do; it can light other candles; it can burn brightly.

Allow me to be a bright light radiating You to others daily, Lord Jesus, amen.
