“Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again.” Luke 6:30

Dear Father God,

In this broken world, grant that I have compassion and mercy for others with a heart that is not hardened.

Grant that I am generous and loving in order to glorify you. Grant that I see them as you see them.

Wipe their tears and those of their angels as they are ignored by the multitudes who claim to know you but whose hearts are far from you.

Thank you for the countless ways to express our generosity daily in service to others and to you, expecting nothing in return.

Lord, grant me sandals to navigate the paths along the journey, in Your glorious name, Jesus the Christ, amen.
