Dear Heavenly Father,

Send me Your guidance. Grant that I will receive it. Grant that I enact it with a clean heart.

Grant me wisdom and patience and a positive affect on those around me.

Grant that I am a blessing to others and always serve to lift up all with encouragement.

Grant that I am a more effective husband and father.

Grant that I release my ego and pride so that I can better receive You.

Place Your hedge of protection over my family today. Protect them from all harm, all evil, all temptation. Guard them with Your host of angels.

Grant that I am effective for You today.
