“You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts.” Ephesians 4:22

Dear Lord Jesus, Son of God,

Thank You for what You do for us every day; always accepting our outstretched hand, breaking our chains, performing miracle upon miracle.

Forgive our pettiness in refusing Your prayer offered to Your Father to make us all one, as You and the Father are one, so that all peoples will believe in You.

Forgive that we cannot put away our former selves driven by lusts, pride, and greed so that Your body of believers can be one, united in Your name, brothers and sisters all.

Forgive every ill word a brother utters about another, revealing their broken and hardened heart, allowing Satan victory.

Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner. Your name is powerful, above all, the Alpha and the Omega. Amen.
