“When he reached the place, he said to them, 'Pray that you may not come into the time of trial.’” Luke 22:40

Dear Heavenly Father,

I praise You and thank You for creating me for a time such as this.

Thank You for choosing me. Grant me the courage to do Your will, as I will be tested daily.

Thank You for the gift of putting on Your armor in order to protect me always in the times of trial. Thank You for Your steadfast love as I pursue You.

Thank You, Jesus, for Your forgiveness when I stumble in this world of trials.

Thank You for the truth of Your word; a solid rock on which to stand and withstand all storms which may come my way.

Grant that today I carry my cross and follow You, Lord Jesus, amen.
