“Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me; yet, not my will but yours be done.”

Luke 22:42

Dear Father in Heaven,

Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done. Always.

Grant me the courage of Your Only Son, Jesus, to complete Your will.

As Jesus was able to complete the fourth and final cup of passover on that cross when he drank from the wine-soaked sponge, allow me to surrender my will to You so that I may fulfill Your purpose for me.

Thank You for Jesus, who is with us as we carry our cross. Thank You for suffering that we endure so that we may share in the suffering of Jesus.

Thank You for how You ordain all things, working all things for good in my life.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for completing the passover for me as the Paschal Lamb for my sins and the whole world. Amen.
