“For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light—”
Ephesians 5:8
Dear Heavenly Father,
I worship You and thank You for providing a way for us to escape darkness and this broken world — all of which leads to death.
Thank You for Your Only Son, Jesus, the Word Made Flesh, Light from Light, who leads us onto the path of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Grant that we live as children of light, abstaining from the darkness as we find our strength in the joy of the Lord — which has no limit.
Thank You that we do not have to be a part of the world while living in it. Thank You for the power of the name above all other names, the name that heals and breaks all chains. The name of Jesus, in whose name this prayer is offered. Amen.
