Dear Heavenly Father,

You did not make us for division. Forgive us as we are filled with wrath envy, pride, and impatience which all keep us from You. The angels You cast from heaven because of their pride have infected the earth and their slaves work day and night to choke out the good seed.

Thank You for the gift of being able to escape the grip of darkness through declaring Jesus our Lord and Savior. He did it. He lives and so can we. Satan works diligently to divide Christian against Christian, father against son, neighbor against neighbor, nation against nation, non-believer against believer.

I ask that You use me today to grow disciples of Christ. I ask that You use me today so that others will accept Jesus as their Lord and keep their thoughts on the heavenly place. Grant that I live in the Spirit today and not the flesh. Protect my family and friends from the snares of the devil.
