Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

You suffered tremendous pain and suffering to get on that cross to save humanity. You crawled with all your remaining strength onto that cross so that You could be pierced as the sacrifice for sinners like me. Your pain on that cross You still suffer today when You see our lukewarmness towards Your sacrifice and love for us.

Grant that my heart remains on fire for You. Grant that I embrace prayer, almsgiving, and fasting. Grant that I recognize what You are asking of me. Grant that I willingly carry my cross daily in order to serve You and others. Grant that I put on our armor daily so that I am victorious against the evil one.

Grant that the evil one has no power against my family. Grant that my family eagerly grasps Your always outstretched hand as You make straight their path.

Thank You for how You will use me today in order to glorify You, as Your name is above all other names. Amen.
