“For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty.” 2 Peter 1:16

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for making Yourself known in innumerable ways to all who believe and do not shield their eyes from the truth.

Thank You for making Yourself known in the breaking of the bread and in the countless other miracles You perform daily. Thank You for saving sinners like me.

Thank You for giving us the courage to share what we are eyewitnesses to, which is Your saving grace, and how it is only through You we have true joy and life eternal. Thank You for the peace that You leave us.

Grant that my family always knows Your voice and is not led astray by the evil spirits that prowl the earth, Lord Jesus, amen.
