Dear Lamb of God,

You spilled Your sacred blood for the sake of us all. Forgive us our unthankfulness, lukewarmness, indifference, pride, and slander towards You. We are difficult, stiff-necked people focused on the pleasure provided by the evil one in this world which is his way of taking our eyes off of You and causing division. Such foolishness as You are the one who established the world.

Thank You for how You deliver for those who love You. Thank You for how You protect those who know Your name. Thank You for how You answer us when we call to You. Thank You for how You rescue us when we are in trouble, for You are Lord.

Grant that I am an instrument of Your peace today. Fill me with Your spirit and make me effective today so that You may be glorified. Perform wondrous works for me today if I am following Your will and surrendered to You.
