Dear Lord Jesus, Hosanna to You, Son of David, King of endless glory,

Help us, for we are a pitiful people, full of blindness, pride, and selfishness.

The evil one runs rampant and has many devoted followers. The truth of Your word is trampled every day, twisted in every direction so that we declare our opinion as the truth.

Remove my ego and pride, Lord, so that I can see. Let me touch the fringe of Your cloak. Cast out my demons.

Grant the same for Your church, Lord, so that it is made one, united. Heal us and renew us.

Thank You for how You have revealed Yourself to us over time, all the mysteries of the faith so carefully guarded. Grant that more eyes are opened.

Use me to prepare the way, to help make straight the path, to be a voice crying out in the desert, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, Emmanuel.
