Dear Lord of Hosts,
I worship You and You alone.
Thank You for guiding us and being patient with us and forgiving our iniquities. Thank You for our Redeemer, Christ our King, Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary, your hand maiden, in a stable, the simplest of beginnings on this earth, announced to shepherds by an Angel, the good news of great joy for all people that on this day in the city of David, a savior, one Messiah is born! Thank You for your covenant with us.
Grant that we are not conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our mind, so that we can understand your will, and what is good, acceptable, and perfect. Strengthen my grip on Your sword and shield. Loosen my grip on my ego and pride.
Shine the light of Christ brightly upon me and my family so that Satan lives in fear of us, afraid to approach. Use me today, use my family, choose us. Grant that we serve you today and your will.
I ask this in the name of Emmanuel, Jesus,
Amen.
