Dear Holy Spirit,

Fill me with Your truth. Fill me with You gifts of peace, love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self control. Fill every part of my body.

Grant that it sufficiently empty myself of my selfish ego and pride so that you can work inside me. Grant that I am fully surrendered so that I can receive a full measure.

Without You I am lost, blind, and lame. Strengthen me, empower me, grow in me a heart of flesh, a soul that obeys and a Will that surrenders to the Father. Work through me, give me the words, grant me the scripture, make me effective.

I need You every moment of every day. Grant me a strong grip on the sword. Grant that I follow Your lead, accept Your wisdom and boldness. I accept You daily. Grant that I continue to walk away from my old skin. Live in the spirit of my new life.

I ask this in the name of Jesus, my Savior and Lord, whose precious blood was shed me.
