Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your love and how You hold us in Your wounded hands and wash away the wounds caused by life.

Thank You for how You have us stand on rock to withstand the storms of daily life.

Thank You for how You transform hearts once we abandon ours to You.

Thank You for making our path straight once we surrender our will to Yours.

Thank You for working all things for good for those who love You and work according to Your purpose.

Grant that today I soften my heart so that I can love You even more.

Forgive my unbelief and lack of trust. Forgive my lack of gratitude and awe and wonder at what You do for me daily.

Forgive my lack of walking along the path You so clearly set for me.

Today I acknowledge You in all things, giving thanks always, praying without ceasing. Amen.
