"Whoever does not carry the cross and follow me cannot be my disciple."

Luke 14:27

Dear Lord,

Grant that I die to self. Dead to sin, dead to fear, dead to judgment, dead to comparison.

Remove my ego and pride. Cast aside all greed.

Grant that I can hear Your voice. Grant that in the silence, I hear You. Guide my every step, lead my every thought. Grant me a voice to speak Your word.

Grant that I see others the way that you see them, with your eyes. Grant that I love others with a heart like Your sacred heart.

Grant me patience, kindness, love, and understanding in all things.

Thank You for my bountiful blessings, as numerous as the sands of the earth. My cup overflows.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
