Dear Lord Jesus, the ransom for many,

I am grateful that the Father gave me to You. Grant that I never stray. Grant that I am a servant to many. Grant that I follow Your footsteps.

Thank You for the peace You provide when we accept Your outstretched hand and do not follow the many idols of this world, all of which cause turmoil.

Thank You for being the soft, gentle breeze.

Forgive me for all the times I took my eyes off of You, preferring the stormy sea and strong winds that blow shifting sands into my face.

Eradicate my ego and pride so that I choose to come humbly to You each day and follow where I am led.

Find my heart acceptable and lead me to people I need and to people who need me.

Lord Jesus, Amen.
