“Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?”

Luke 6:41

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for pointing out our hypocrisy, thinking higher of ourselves than we ought, our propensity to assume Your role and judge others, never judging ourselves.

Thank You for the reminder that we all are broken people in a broken world, and if we think otherwise, it is because we follow the evil one who has convinced us that this is all there is, and we should seek to divide.

Thank You for the peace You provide when we decide to stop fighting and live with You as our Lord, following You in all things, Lord Jesus, amen.
