“If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25

Dear Holy Spirit,

Thank You for helping me realize that I must empty myself for You to truly reside in me.

Thank You for helping me realize that any part of my being that I reserve for ego, pride, greed, conceit, envy, and covet is a part of myself that I deny You to work in me.

Thank You for the discipline required to live in the Spirit and remain in the Spirit. Thank You for allowing us to make that choice.

Grant that I choose light, not darkness; truth, not shifting sands; peace, not grudges; joy, not anger.

Thank You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for living in me, amen.
