Dear Father God,

Thank You for this day. Thank You for creating me.

Thank You for sending us the bread of eternal life, Jesus. Thank You for the many miracles, the mighty miracles, You perform for us each and every day. Thank You for rewarding our true faith. Thank You for allowing us to place all of our trust in You, the true truth.

What a friend we have in Jesus, the Way, the Truth, the Light. Grant that every step I walk is a step I walk with Jesus, away from my old skin, into my new life. Lord Jesus, You are my daily bread, through whom I experience true joy and peace through love, forgiveness, and surrender.

Thank you for answered prayers. Thank You for strengthening my grip on Your sword and shield. Thank You for loosening my grip on my ego and pride. Deliver me to people who need me and to people I need. Fill my heart, make me effective, fasten my sandals and belt.

Shine Your Light upon me. Use me today. Your will, not mine.
