“Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.” 1 John 3:18
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for laying down Your life for us so that we would know true love; and because of this, we ought to lay our lives down for one another.
Grant that I release greed, envy, ego, and pride so that I can possess a heart that is able to love as You taught and modeled.
Grant that I am able to be a blessing to others, expecting nothing in return. Grant that through my truth and action, I can more fully step into the path You have designed for me, focused and obedient.
Allow me the strength for everything through You who empowers me.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
