“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for the truth that out of the heart the mouth speaks.

Thank You for the wisdom that any hate, grudge, revenge, or anger in someone’s heart will present itself in someone’s speech.

Thank You for reinforcing that we are to love the Father with all of our heart, mind, and soul, and our neighbor as ourselves.

As our heart, mind, and soul are created by Him, this is our most natural, joyful, and peaceful state. Outside of this are stress, resentment, anger, chaos, and death.

Dear Lord, grant me an everlasting peace that knows no bounds because of the undivided love in my heart for You.

Thank You for what You have done for me, Lord Jesus. Amen.
