“This child is destined for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be opposed so that the inner thoughts of many will be revealed—and a sword will pierce your own soul too.” Luke 2:34-35

Dear Father God,

Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to save all who call on His name.

Thank You for loving us so much to ransom us from our separation with You.

Forgive our indifference to the cruel death for which Jesus suffered, witnessed by many, including His mother, for the freeing of our souls.

Grant that my inner thoughts are focused on loving You and others, cognizant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as I empty myself in order to be filled with Your Spirit, in order to fulfill Your purpose.
