“And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.” 1 John 3:3

Dear Father God,

We praise You and thank You for creating us for a time such as this. Thank You for Your Only Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Grant that we live with Jesus both as our Savior and our Lord. Grant us the Holy Spirit so that we can block out the world and all of its false idols so that we can live with Jesus as the Lord of our lives, not easily swayed by shifting sands, deceivers, worship of worldly things, and any idol that we put greater enthusiasm in rather than You.

Grant that we are not conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds, to understand what is Your will, and what is good, acceptable, and perfect.
