“And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” Luke 14:14

Dear Lord Jesus,

Grant me a heart of flesh. Grant that I think of myself less, so I can think of others more. Work in me to do Your works. Form me into a new creation.

Remove my ego and pride. Grant that I passionately pursue my calling rather than comfort, because of fear.

Fill me with Your Spirit; grant me the fruit of discipline and obedience so that my effort is full in service to You.

Lead me and my family to people we need and to people who need us. Work through us to be effective today, overcoming the world.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
