“So therefore, none of you can become my disciple if you do not give up all your possessions.”

Luke 14:33

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for everything You do for me every single minute of every single day.

Grant me a spirit of charity with all the many blessings that You provide for me.

Grant that my grip is very loose with worldly possessions and that my thoughts are with heavenly things; the things above.

Grant that my thoughts are always on growing the kingdom here on earth. Grant that I forsake all greed, pride, envy, and ego so that Satan is disappointed every day.

Forgive my lack of courage to give it all up for You, Jesus, as You gave it all up for me. Amen.
