“‘for this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!’ And they began to celebrate.” Luke 15:24

Dear Father God,

Thank You for Your steadfast love, never giving up on us, greeting us when we return home.

Thank You for allowing us to be dead to our former life, a life that generally includes being drowned in our ego, pride, and greed; so that we can be born again in the blood of Jesus.

Thank You, Jesus, for being the way, the truth, and the life. Thank You for the springs eternal. Thank You for the baptism in the Spirit when we turn away from the world and truly choose to follow You.

Thank You for the hedge of protection against the enemy for ourselves and our families. Thank You for the countless blessings when we choose You.

Thank You for the joy You bring in all circumstances, Lord Jesus, amen.
