“Yet I persistently sent to you all my servants the prophets, saying, “I beg you not to do this abominable thing that I hate!”
Jeremiah 44:4
Dear Lord God,
Thank You for having pity on us sinners who prefer the sound of our own voice, our own thoughts, rather than Your thoughts, our fear over Your victory, Satan’s pittance over Your treasure chest. Have mercy on us.
Satan seeks to divide; Jesus seeks to unite. Grant that more seek Jesus and His voice. Grant that more are obedient to His voice, not their own voice.
Your thoughts are so much greater than our thoughts. Thank You for the power of the Spirit to understand things of the Spirit.
Grant that more seek the flowing, living water of Jesus, eschewing the ways of the world in order to form a more perfect union with You. Amen.
