Dear wonderful and amazing Triune God,

Thank you for knowing Shane and Emily in the womb

Thank you for creating Shane and Emily with a purpose

Thank you for your perfect plans

Thank you for bringing them together

Thank you for what you will do in their lives to glorify you

Thank you for having a dream for their life together that is even bigger than their own

Thank You for allowing us to cast all concerns upon You.

We know You work all things for good for those who love You and work according to Your purpose.

We ask that You grant that they always have hearts of flesh, hearts not hardened by grudges and the world. Hearts that love You.

And since we know that You also work things for good for those who also work according to Your purpose,

We ask that You strengthen and encourage them to always listen to and follow Your will and purpose for their lives.

Bless them fully. Grant that their joy is complete.

Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
