“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for how we are pruned in order to do greater things; Thank You for always making a way. Forgive us for when we miss it, often because of fear, greed, conceit, business, and comfort.
Grant that I sufficiently empty myself so that I can hear Your voice, recognize Your messengers, and see Your plan at work; alleluia!
Grant that I honor You with my effort today, emptying myself, just as You emptied Yourself by pouring into us.
Today I will remain in the Spirit, not the world, and its fruit shall be multiplied - and You will be glorified as a result.
Today I will abide in You as I know You are abiding in me.
Ordain my steps, Lord Jesus, amen.
