“For all who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Luke 14:11

Dear Father God,

Thank You for how You hear us when we fully rely on You, not relying on ourselves and our human strength and wisdom.

Grant that I daily remove my ego and pride, for pride is separation from You.

Thank You for the weakness we have apart from You, and its struggles, attacks, and concerns.

Today, I will remain humble, a faithful servant to You, listening for what You want me to do for You. Work through me. Allow me to empty myself so that I can be effective for You. Send Your Spirit, fill me with its fruits. Grow me in the likeness of Jesus the Christ, my Lord and Savior, in whose name this prayer is offered. Amen.
