“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

Dear Lord Jesus, the Christ,

Create in me a clean heart, so that I may have fullness of life. Grant that I am able to release my grip to the world and all of its lusts, so that I can firmly grasp Your hand and stay rooted in You; surrendered to Your will.

Call me to Your purpose; ask me to do great things in order to glorify You. Grant that I empty myself enough so that Your Spirit may abound in me.

Grant that I give thanks in all circumstances and thank You for making straight my path. Lord Jesus, I need You,and I will rely on You today, not myself. You are my Lord and Shepherd. Amen.
