Dear Father God,

Thank You for the gift of today on Your beautiful creation. May your will be done. Forgive us for our lukewarmness and for not praying without ceasing. Forgive us our selfishness, greed and ego. Forgive us our unbelief.

Grant us the Holy Spirit and the power to love, forgive, and to surrender to Your will. Strengthen our grip on Your sword and shield. Grant us the comfort of Your rod and staff as we traverse the many snares of the devil. Grant that we put on Your armor in preparation of our daily battle with darkness. Grant us the wisdom to recognize those who do not live in the Spirit and therefore consider Your word foolishness.

Encourage our brothers and sisters today. Grant them eyes that can see Your many miracles and feet that allow them to walk with Jesus the Lord today. Grant us faith the size of a mustard seed and encouragement to activate our spiritual gifts, so that we are not lukewarm and continue to grow disciples in Lord Jesus. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Lord and Savior,
