Dear Lord,

Thank You for breaking my chains. Thank You for curing our hunger with Your Bread of Life. Grant me a vise grip on your rod and staff as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death where there are many prisoners of the evil one who keep sin in their hearts and worship idols.

I know You work all things for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. You knew us in the womb. We are wonderfully created in Your image. When we are truly born again we easily walk away from our old life, our old skin, controlled by sin where we lived in the flesh – and walk into on new life with Christ where we are transformed and free. Satan no longer has power over us.

Today I will carry my cross and walk with You. I will wear Your full armor, acknowledge You in all things, give thanks always, and pray without ceasing. Give me a heart of love and a being that trusts in Your will and plan for my life completely. Thank You for all You do for me every day. Use me as You wish today.

You are Lord. I am Your servant. Amen.
