“Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.”

Joel 2:13

Dear Lord God,

Worthy You are; slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

Thank You for drawing our young people back to You, not punishing them for the sins of a former generation.

Thank You for shaping, growing, and forming us, never giving up on us, so that Your will be done.

Thank You for the pain we incur when we resist and fight You. Thank You for the peace and joy when we submit to Your will.

Grant me and my family clean hearts, burning passionately in Your truth and presence, on fire for You, and to share that joy with others.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for what You have done for us. Amen.
