“They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they laid Him.”

John 20:2

Dear Heavenly Father,

In our own power we are so weak in the battle against the evil one, who wants us as his victims.

When I wear the armor of ego, greed, and pride, I am an open and easy target for hate, division, and conceit. A serpent crawling on my belly.

Thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your only Son to bear the wrath and be the perfect atonement for us loving the evil one more than You; For loving the darkness more than the light.

He is risen. He lives. He lives in my heart if I let Him.

Grant that I always walk in the light, hand in hand with my Lord Jesus, who conquered the world,
