“Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” John 20:15

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for being present in our sorrow and pain.

I am sorrowful and humbled by the pain You had to endure for me.

I am so thankful for people like Simon of Cyrene and Veronica who helped You and showed compassion during Your Passion on that cruel day.

Thank You for the instruction to love the Father with all of our heart, mind, and soul; to love our neighbor as ourself; and to grow disciples of Yours, teaching them all that You have instructed us.

Thank You for the power in Your name and what is capable when we have faith at least the size of a mustard seed. 

Thank You, Lord Jesus,
