Dear Lord Jesus,

Grant that I am not led astray. Grant that I trust in You more every day. Grant that Your goodness surrounds me like a shield. Grant that Satan flees with the mention of Your name. Grant that I release my grip of my ego and pride so that I can more effectively grasp Your rod and staff. Grant that I rely more on You and Your Strength each day and not my own.

Through You I can do all things. You are my strength, my rock, my redeemer.

Grant that I am daily thankful for Your sacrifice and the sacrifice of Your mother, every Apostle, Stephen the first Christian Martyr, every Christian Martyr ever to walk the earth, every believer working to spread the gospel, every person working according to Your purpose, every walking miracle, anyone surrendered to Your will, all our priests, pastors, bishops, ministers who know the truth, and the souls who don't know You yet that You put in front of us.

Thank You for Your Sacred Heart, and the love You have for us. Amen.
