“We have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:12

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You, and all praise and honor to You.

Grant that I don the armor daily to fight against the evil spirit of the world penetrating me or my family.

Grant that I courageously step into the purpose for which You designed me, and the Spirit continues to lead me.

Grant that I empty myself each day so that the Spirit may fill me with love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, kindness, and self-control.

Grant that I use these gifts of the Spirit to further Your kingdom and to have more things work for good for those to whom I can bring these gifts.

Thank You for the grace we receive from Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name this prayer is offered. Amen.
