Dear Loving Lord,

Thank You for all You do for me when I allow You to work through me.

Grant that I do not allow the flesh to overtake the Spirit today.

Grant me a clean heart and allow me to speak from the heart today so that Your Spirit can work through me.

Grant that Your will be done today and that I do not get in its way with any selfishness, ego, and pride.

Grant that I adopt David’s song of Thanksgiving: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,

My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,

My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge,

My savior; You save me from violence.

I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,

And I am saved from my enemies.”

Today, I call upon You; Be my fortress. Amen.
