Prayer of Healing

O Lord of Sorrows,

Help us to bear our sufferings with patience. Allow us to use our suffering to trust in You more and more. Allow us to feel Your love more and more as our suffering produces endurance.

Allow our endurance to grow a character of surrendering ourselves to You in all things as we know You share in our suffering.

Allow our suffering to produce hope, hope in Your power, hope in Your truth, hope in sharing in the suffering that You endured, hope in the fact that You designed us perfectly in Your image, and that we will be healed, in this world and the next.

Thank You for Your steadfast love. Thank You for working all things for good, for those who love You, and are working for Your purpose. We love You and praise the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
