Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for the love You show us, even when we abandon You, like we did when You were on that cross, and when we abandon You in our daily lives, preferring the world and the ways of Satan over You.

Forgive how we continue to pierce Your side daily. Forgive how we deny our own cross.

Forgive how we accept the lies and deception of the evil one.

Forgive how easily we are led astray.

Forgive how easily we harbor hate in our hearts.

Forgive our unwillingness to forgive.

Forgive our allergy to love.

Forgive our lack of worship and thankfulness to You daily.

Thank You for Your always outstretched hand in spite of our faults. Amen.
