“Beloved, while eagerly preparing to write to you about the salvation we share, I find it necessary to write and appeal to you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.”

Jude 1:3

Dear Lord Jesus,

I pray that more contend for the faith with open eyes and hearts less concerned about their wallets and how You might put more money into it.

I pray that more contend for the faith by knowing Your Word and voice so that they will recognize a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I pray that more contend for the faith by putting on the armor daily, releasing their ego and pride, staying in the Spirit, and surrendering to You and not the world.

I pray that more contend for the faith by rebuking Satan and all his ways which are many and disguised to look good, even morally just.

I pray to You Lord Jesus as I walk daily through the valley of the shadow of death, Amen.
