Lord,

Forgive our preference for our word, not Your word.

Faith comes from hearing; thank You for the clear choice to put our faith in the world and shifting sands, or in You and what is heard through You, Lord Jesus Christ.

Grant that I place my faith in You more and more every day. Overflow my cup, grant me a harvest that knows no border. Use me as an example of great faith and the joys of surrender.

Lead me to people that I need and to people who need me. Make straight my path. Allow me to hear Your voice. Reveal Yourself to me. Ask me to do great things in order to glorify You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
